Rochester Augmented is a groundbreaking initiative by Rochester City Arts Lab (RCAL) that merges augmented reality, mobile tech, and public art to “rediscover” Rochester’s hidden histories via geo-located interactive experiences. Led by new media students from RIT.

Rochester Contemporary Art Center will host Rochester City Arts Lab for their first outdoor public art installation. Rochester Augmented features geo-located virtual installations and experiences – superimposed all over the city. Elements of these projects will be virtually installed at RoCo for this special event.
